Bones and All (2022): A Hauntingly Beautiful Love Story Hidden in Horror

Bones and All (2022), Although I am not a big fan of Luca Guadagnino and Timothée Chalamet, this film was surprisingly phenomenal. It was badly marketed as a horror film. In reality, the horror aspects were eclipsed by a beautiful love story, which was told in a very minimalistic way, with simple music, simple shots, beautiful landscapes, and cinematography. I watched it a few days ago, and I feel haunted by the excellent soundtrack by Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross. It evoked many themes of love, loneliness, companionship, grief, and the longing to belong to a society. I really wish I could make something as good as that in the future. I don't know why the film didn't do well at the box office, though. I think the studio didn't give it enough support in the marketing stage, which is unfortunate.

I highly recommend this film. Watch it without checking the trailer if you can. It's a film that will stay in my mind for a while, for sure.
